Sample letters to BBC

Introduction:

BBC has allowed Vinod Mehta (a well known person for his Hindu Hatred) and editor of India Trash Magazine, who btw, patronize Stephen Anand to write lies about Hinduism and Hindus. His letter can be read at BBC site. Forum members came up with sample letters to BBC and here is the compilation of the sample letters. Everyone is encouraged to send the letters to BBC.

Model one:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Before allowing Vinod Mehta to speak on BBC 4, you should have first looked into his magazine's (Outlook) calumnies and rumor-mongering about the case he pretends to report objectively.

After this, how can we trust other news and views from the BBC?

We look forward to more impartial facts and apologies from you.

Sad regards,
--

Model two:

Dear Sir or Madam,
Allowing V. Mehta to spread such lies is not worthy of the BBC. Are you also turning into a tabloid like Outlook magazine?

Mehta himself says our Shankaracharya ranks with the Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury. How would the English feel if the official radio of India or some other country spread similar lies about your good and honorable Archbishop?

Don't worry. We will never do such a thing. We respect all religions as well as their leaders and the high office they hold.

Please make an effort to report the true facts.

Sincerely,
--

Model three:

Dear Mr. Grade,

You have downGraded yourself by handing the microphone to Vinod Mehta. Here in India his magazine is indeed famous ? for spreading hate against the Hindus and lies against the Shankaracharyas.

If you want the facts, why don't you read The Pioneer or the editorials in The Times of India or in The Indian Express (by Mr. Gurumurthy whom the police want to put in jail simply for expressing his views as a journalist).

Your responsibility is to report facts, not rumors and slanders.

Please check the facts and make an apology.

Sorry if I sound angry. I am.

--

Model four:

Dear BBC,

Together with my family and friends I have been deeply wounded by Vinod Mehta's letter which you have posted on the Internet.

We didn't protest earlier because we were shocked ? not at Mehta but at the BBC.
Mehta has been telling the same lies via Outlook magazine in India. Why don't you check the facts before spreading slander?

Please redress the facts.
--

Model five:

Dear Mr. Grade,

First you treat Jesus Christ in a most indignant way, then you do the same with our most revered Shankaracharya.

Jesus Christ is not the property of the BBC. He is a Light unto all humanity. So is our Shankaracharya.

Please delete that slanderous piece by V. Mehta from your Internet site. First investigate the facts, then report your findings.

Otherwise how can we trust and respect you?

With regards,

Model six:

Dear Mr. Grade,

We respect you. Why don't you respect us?

Just because you get an Indian to write, and don't do it yourself, you cannot sidestep your responsibilities. You are spreading falsehood and slander about our most revered Shankaracharya, His Holiness Sri Jayendra Saraswati Swamigal.

It grieves us to see you are now spreading falsehood and hate between nations, instead of truth and love.

Please remove that hate-inducing rubbish from the Internet and probe the facts.

(Former) regards,
