Many of us have been shell-shocked by the arrest of His Holiness Sankaracharya. The Tamilnadu government and police have been cruel but effective, in manipulating the news. The Public Prosecutor claimed in the courts that "Sankaracharya has confessed" and all the news papers were delighted in printing this news. Sensational, but patently false news appeared at regular intervals in the media like "Raghu has confessed", "The seer had very lengthy phone conversations with a woman", "Gold is missing" etc. Manipulated Videos with voice-overs on SUN News is released showing as if the sankaracharya is chiding the junior seer. All this has caused confusion in the minds of people making the common man think " Could His Holiness really be guilty? "

The answer is NO. His Holiness is completely innocent. As expected, a number of judgements have come out from the courts. The honorable judges of higher courts, have consistently repeated this. The supreme court explicitly said, "There is no prima facie evidence linking the accused to the crime".

Jayalalitha regime is characterized by the " Arrest Quickly, Released eventually " syndrome. Examine the vaiko case, the arrest of State Government employees, arrest of Karunanidhi, Sankaracharya etc. Eventually nobody gets convicted. Either the court frees them or they are released out of political compulsions. We are fully confident that the courts will release Sankaracharya too.

She had 700 slippers and that was in 1996. He prays for the good of all mankind. What do you think she prays for, more slippers maybe???.
